Quality food and drink restaurant in Toronto Canada.
Rooted in the charming influences of a rural Ontario farmhouse (and that soul-soothing rock ‘n’ roll), our laid-back restaurant serves up hearty gourmet meals, made from farm-fresh Ontario-sourced ingredients, alongside local craft beers, ciders and VQA wines.
Our menu changes with the harvest season, and all our quality food is supplied by nearby farmers, fishermen, forest growers and harvesters, bakers and pasta makers, ensuring only the freshest ingredients and decreasing our carbon-footprint. We’re also reducing our food and drink wastage by clearing out the last of our ingredients every Sunday with our “F*ck Mondays” food and drink specials.
Established by Darcy McDonnell in 2012, we’re under new management as of July 2020. Our new owner plans on staying faithful to the ethos that’s always made this place so special. Keeping it a little bit country and a lot rock ‘n’ roll to the people of Toronto, Canada.
Farm House Tavern, keeping you fed, watered and coming back for more….
Sourced from farms, forests and the rocky outcrops of the Canadian Shield, all our food comes from a radius of 100 km from the restaurant.
F*ck Mondays is all about reducing the size of our carbon footprint stomp by ending food waste. Starting at 3 every Sunday we have progressive half-price deals until all food is gone.
Delicious meals, delivered by an amazing team
OWNER
Nancy came to Toronto from Los Angeles with a dream for a farm to table restaurant in mind. She found the Farmhouse Tavern and it was love at first sight. Armed with a vision, an amazing staff, boundless determination and not much else she opened the Farmhouse Tavern in the midst of a global pandemic. Eventually she will be able to say “and the rest is history”. Stay tuned.
